Polem Beach – Goa
Located in close proximity to the coastal town of Karwar in Karnataka is a picturesque and pristine beach known as Polem Beach. This scenic beach located in the Canacona district in Goa is approximately 700 meters long, and is renowned for being extremely tranquil. In addition, this beach is also surrounded by palm trees that helps add more charm to its scenic beauty. It is also one of least crowded beaches in the state.

Climate and the best time to visit Polem Beach
The climate this beach experiences during the summers which begins in March and ends in May is generally “hot and humid” with the mercury on an average rising to about 35 degree Celsius. The rainfall received during the monsoons is “heavy”. The winter which begins in December and ends in February are pleasant with the temperatures ranging from a maximum of 28 degree Celsius to a minimum of 21 degree Celsius. So the ideal time to visit this picturesque and pristine beach is during winters from December to February.

Since this picturesque beach is located in a desolate spot there are hardly any activities/things to do observed in and around this beach. There are few shacks that provide for seafood. Additionally, the scenic beauty of this beach makes it an ideal picnic spot for tourists.
