Vengrula Malvan Beach – Maharashtra
Surrounded by coconut, jack fruit, and mango trees is an extremely picturesque beach called Vengrula Malvan Beach. This beautiful beach is located in Sindhudurg district at a distance of 514 km from Mumbai and 200 km from Ratnagiri. In addition, this beach also consists of beautiful palm trees. Furthermore, in close proximity to this beach lie famous temples such as Shri Devi Sateri Temple and Rameshwar Temple. In addition, two famous forts Sindhudurg and Padmagad are also situated around this beach.

- By train:
The nearest railway station to this beach is located in Sawantwadi at a distance of 20 km. The Sawantwadi Railway Station is well connected to major cities in the country such as Mumbai, Pune, New Delhi etc.
- By Road:
If you intend to drive to this beach then the ideal starting points would be Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, and Kolhapur.
- Via Mumbai:
There are two routes from Mumbai to this beach, and they are via NH-48 and via NH-66.

There are two routes from Pune to this beach, and they are via NH-48 and via ShirurSatara Road and NH-48.
3. Via Solapur:
There are three routes from Solapur to this beach, and they are via NH-204, via Sangola-Mangalwedha-Solapur Road and NH-204 and via NH-13.
4. Via Kolhapur:
There are three routes from Kolhapur to this beach, and they are via MH SH 180, via Chauk-Karjat-Murbad Road, and via MH SH 116 and Chauk-Karjat-Murbad Road.

The closest airport to this beach is located in Dabolim. The Goa International Airport Dabolim is well connected to major cities in the country as well as to international destinations.
Climate and the best time to visit the Vengrula Malvan Beach
The climate at this beach during the summer season which begins in March and ends in May is extremely “hot and humid” with the temperature ranging from a maximum of 38 degree Celsius to a minimum of 28 degree Celsius. The rainfall received during the monsoon season which begins in June and ends in October is extremely “heavy”. On the other hand the winter season which begins in November and ends in February is pleasant with the temperature ranging from a maximum of 28 degree Celsius and a minimum of 16 degree Celsius. So the ideal time to visit this beach is from March to February during the winter.

- Temples:
Two popular temples Shri Devi Sateri Temple and RameshwarMandir are located around this beach. Furthermore, these temples are visited by large number of tourists on a daily basis.

Two popular forts i.e. Sindhudurg and Padmagad are located in close proximity to this beach. Both these magnificent forts were built by the great Maratha Emperor Shivaji. Furthermore, these forts are visited every year by large number of tourists and are major tourist attractions found around this beach.
