At about 20 kilometres away from a town called Narasapuram in Andhra Pradesh lies the scenic “Perupalem Beach”. This beach is located on the coast of Bay of Bengal in the West Godavari district. It is known to be an extremely serene beach with, the beautiful sight of the Bay of Bengal being a major tourist attraction. There are also a number of eateries popular for serving local cuisine located around this beach. Additionally, good quality accommodation around this beach can easily be found. So if you intend to relax in the presence of a “serene environment” then this beach must be visited sooner rather than later.

The nearest railway station to this beach is located in a town called Narasapuram. The Narasapuram Railway Station is well connected to major cities in the country.

Climate and the best time to visit Perupalem Beach:

The climate in Narasapuram during the summers that begins in March and ends in May is usually hot and humid with, temperatures ranging from a maximum of 40 degree Celsius to a minimum of 22 degree Celsius. The rainfall received during the monsoons which arrives in June and departs in September usually being heavy. The winter begins in October and ends in February during which the climate is pleasant with, temperature ranging from a maximum of 22 degree Celsius to a minimum of 12 degree Celsius.  So the ideal time to enjoy the scenic beauty of this beach is from October to March when the climate is extremely pleasant. 

  1. Things/Activities to do:

The sea surrounded this beach is safe and as a result, swimming is an extremely popular activity over here. A famous temple called “Venkateswara” located at this beach is worth a visit especially since it has been renovated recently. There is also a popular Shiva Temple located in close proximity to this beach in a town called “Palakollu” which is worth visiting. Additionally, a popular town called “Antarvedi” located near this beach is worth a visit. This town is renowned for a Narasimha Swamy Temple, a major tourist attraction.
