This beach is situated in the CanaconaTaluka and is renowned for its pristine environment. Furthermore, apart from its scenic beauty it also serves as a nestling ground for the olive Ridley sea turtles species. Climate and the best time to visit Agonda Beach
The ideal time to visit this beautiful beach is during the winter which begins in December and ends in February during which the climate is pleasant with the temperatures ranging from a maximum of 28 degree Celsius to a minimum of 21 degree Celsius. The summers which begins in March and ends in May is generally “hot and humid” with the mercury on an average rising to as high as about 35 degree Celsius. While, the rainfall received during the monsoons is “heavy”. So the ideal time to visit this picturesque beach is during winters from December to February

There are a number of activities that one can undertake while at this beach. They are as follows:
a. Swimming: Since the water surrounding this beach is safe, it is serves as an ideal spot for swimming. And so you tend see many people swimming at this beach.
b. Parasailing: In terms of water sports activity, parasailing is the most popular at this beach. The parasailing activity at this beach is mainly witnessed in the evenings after 5 pm.
c. Boat Trips: There are a number boat services that are available at this beach. These services provide for trips to the beautiful beautiful beaches located such as Butterfly, Honeymoon situated essentially on islands. These boat rides also provide for “dolphin” spotting.
d. Sunbathing: Located in an extremely remote area and also surrounded by rocks, this beach serves as an ideal spot for sunbathing in presence of the blazing sun and pristine sand. More importantly, this beach provides for privacy.
