Known for being “peaceful and calm” is a beautiful beach located in the Valsad district of Gujarat called the Umbergaon Beach. This beach lies in a small town called Umbergaon Beach in close proximity to the Maharashtra border. It also is considered to be the home of the fisherman community. Furthermore, it is the cool air, calmness in the atmosphere, and the beautiful view of the setting sun that makes this scenic beach an ideal holiday destination. It is situated at a distance of just 11 km (via Umbergaon – Dehri Rd and Dahanu Rd).

Climate and the best time to visit Umbergaon Beach:
The climate in Umbergaon is extremely hot and humid during the summer months of March to June with temperature ranging from 21 degrees Celsius to 40 degree Celsius. The monsoons arrive in July and depart in September with the town receiving moderate rainfall while, during winter which sets in November and ends in February the climate is extremely cool with temperature ranging from 10 degree Celsius to 21 degree Celsius and thereby proving to be the ideal time to visit.

In close proximity to this beach are two temples dedicated to Lord Ganesh and Radha Krishna respectively. Both these temples are visited frequently by many tourists and as a result are major tourist attractions.
3. Fishing Harbour:
Connected to beach is yet another major tourist attraction, the fishing harbour. The viewof the region surrounding the harbour is breath taking and is what makes it such a tourist delight.
