Climate and the best time to visit the Mahabalipuram Beach
The temperature at this beach during the summer months which begins in March and ends in June ranges from a maximum of about 45 degree Celsius to a minimum of 30 degree Celsius. The rainfall received during the monsoon season which begins in July and ends in September is “heavy”. While the winter season on the other hand which begins in November and ends in February is extremely “pleasant” with mercury dropping to a minimum of about 17 degree Celsius. So the ideal time to visit this place is during the winter season from November to February.

4. Five Rathas:
Five monolithic temple constructed using different styles is located around this beach. The formation of the five temples coming together is known as Pancha Pandava.
